Havre de Grace Crime: Golf Clubs Stolen, Arrests
The following information was supplied by the Havre de Grace Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.
From the Havre de Grace Police Department:
Garfield Road, 800 block, 5:39 a.m. on Aug. 6. An 18-year-old male assaulted a 13-year-old following an argument over sitting on a mat. Police initially responded to Harford Memorial Hospital to speak with the victim, who was referred to the Harford County Court Commissioner’s Office to place charges.
Congress Avenue, 500 block, 11:59 p.m. on Aug. 5. The tire of a vehicle was flattened overnight by a drill bit. The victim awoke to find the drill bit in the tire after parking the vehicle the night before. Police have no suspects.
Vancherie Court, 100 block, 5:42 p.m. on Aug. 5. A suspicious vehicle was left running for several hours in front of a residence. The property owner checked both the residence and the vehicle and found them unoccupied. Officers turned off the vehicle.
Pulaski Highway, 900 block, 3:41 p.m. on Aug. 5. A victim reported that she was receiving harassing phone calls threatening violence from her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend. Police referred the victim to the Harford County Court Commissioner’s Office.
Willow Way, 300 block, 3:01 p.m. on Aug. 5. A victim reported receiving 10 harassing phone calls from a caller who threatened to kill the victim. The calls came from a restricted number, and the victim reported the voice as sounding like one of a teenage boy. Police advised the victim to contact the cell phone service provider to have the number blocked.
Blenheim Farm Lane, 300 block, 11:12 p.m. on Aug. 4. A golf bag and clubs—the total value of items included was $1,300—was reported as stolen from the entrance at the Bulle Rock Golf Course clubhouse. Police have no suspects or witnesses. The Titlest golf bag was valued at $250, a set of 12 irons was valued at $400, a driver at $400, a putter at $150 and golf shoes at $100.
Ontario Street, 1100 block, 4:54 p.m. on Aug. 4. Tyler Mathew Lingenfelter, 20, of the 2000 block of Kelmore Road in Baltimore was arrested and charged with second-degree domestic assault. The arrest stems from an incident in which a female victim said Lingenfelter struck her in the face following a series of argumentative text messages.
Pulaski Highway, 800 block, 4:01 p.m. on Aug. 4. David Jason Williams, 33, of the 1600 block of Ingelside Drive in Perryville was arrested and charged with driving under the influence.
Fender Court, 200 block, 11:22 a.m. on Aug 4. A resident complained that a contractor working on a fence on a neighboring property placed equipment and materials on the complainant’s property. Workers complied with a request to remove the items.
Joe Hill Drive, 100 block, 10:03 p.m. on Aug. 3. Benjamin Walker Burton, 32, of the 3000 block of Lewis Lane was arrested and charged with driving under the influence.
Lewis Lane, 400 block, 6:22 p.m. on Aug. 3. Police located suspected marijuana on a suspect involved in a verbal altercation. No charges were filed as of noon on Tuesday.
Village Drive, 200 block, 2:50 p.m. on Aug. 3. The hub cap on a vehicle was damaged when a bicycle struck the car. The victim was provided information if charges were desired.
Level Road, 9:13 p.m., Aug. 2. Siera Lyann Koermer, 18, of the 2900 block of Guyton Road in Fallston was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. The arrest took place during a traffic stop in an undocumented location along the road.
