Havre de Grace Crime: Egg Nog, Bicycle, Electronics Stolen
Thefts at both 7-Elevens in Havre de Grace were reported this week, according to the Havre de Grace Police Department.
Bloomsbury Avenue, 100 block. 10:29 p.m. on Dec. 12. A Garmin was stolen from a truck. The vehicle owner could not recall whether the truck was locked.
Union Avenue, 500 block. 8:43 p.m. on Dec. 11. A man stole a half gallon of egg nog from one of the refrigerators in 7-Eleven. The suspect was described as a white man approximately 5-foot-9, wearing a blue hoodie and blue jeans, who left in a Dodge Intrepid headed for US 40. Officials estimated the egg nog was worth $3.29.
Ontario Street, 900 block. 10:20 a.m. on Dec. 10. While making a purchase at 7-Eleven, a customer set down a Samsung Galaxy phone. Realizing after leaving that the phone was left behind, the person returned to retrieve it and the phone was gone. Video surveillance showed the phone was picked up by a black man dressed in a black and gray winter coat, brown hooded sweatshirt, red baseball cap and green pants. The victim estimated the phone was worth $745.
Webb Lane, 400 block. 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Dec. 8. Two sheds and a gas tank were spray-painted with graffiti behind a church. There are no suspects, and no damage estimate was provided.
Fountain Street, 700 block. 12:03 p.m. on Dec. 6. A bike was reported stolen from the backyard of a residence.
