Havre de Grace Crime: Cash, License Plate Stolen

The following information was supplied by the Havre de Grace Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

 

From the Havre de Grace Police Department:

Warren Street, 500 block, 4:20 a.m. on Sept. 12. Richard James Brooks, 46, of the 1200 block of Penn Street in Washington, DC was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Montgomery County for failure to appear.

Revolution Street, 600 block, 1:31 a.m. on Sept. 12. Police responded to the report of a robbery to find that the victim falsely reported the incident. The investigation is ongoing.

Pearl Street, 600 block, 9:41 p.m. on Sept. 11. A temporary license plate was taken from a vehicle following a verbal dispute. Police located the tag on Maryland Route 155. The victim was referred to the Harford County Court Commissioners Office if they wished to press charges. 

Battery Drive, 400 block, 4:45 p.m. on Sept. 11. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken from a residence. The victim was able to partially describe the suspect. The investigation is ongoing.
