Havre de Grace Crime: Theft After Duck Dunk

The following information was supplied by the Havre de Grace Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

South Juniata Street, 600 block, 4:35 p.m. on Jan. 23
. Lindsay Nicole Smith, 27, of the 200 block of Pointe Way in Havre de Grace was arrested and charged with possession of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia. Officers on patrol in the area of Havre de Grace Elementary School saw a suspicious vehicle and upon making contact with the operator, observed the drugs and paraphernalia.

North Juniata Street, 400 block, 11:18 p.m. on Jan. 21. Daniel William Rightnour, 28, of the 700 block of Carpenters Point Road in Perryville was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and other traffic related violations. Rightnour was stopped after running a stop sign.

Commerce Street, 300 block, 11:25 a.m. on Jan. 21. Three folding tables and 25 chairs were reported stolen from Tydings Park following the Duck Dunk. The company that loaned the equipment reported it stolen when returning to collect the items. Police have no suspects or witnesses.

Lewis Street, 700 block, 11 a.m. on Jan. 20. A mirror was broken off a vehicle, causing $200 damage. Police have a suspect and the investigation is ongoing.
