Harford County Under Tornado Watch Tuesday

The watch expires at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

 

The National Weather Service has placed Harford County under a tornado watch.

The watch lasts until 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Harford County government utilized the ConnectCTY program to reach out to residents by email and voicemail. The messages said, in part, "Please monitor local news stations and be prepared to seek shelter during any severe storms."

Harford County is also under a Coastal Flood Advisory until 6 p.m. That alert changes to a Coast Flood Warning from 6 p.m. Tuesday through 2 a.m. on Wednesday, the National Weather Service said.
