Christmas Burglar Steals Electronics from Chapel Road Residence

Harford County Sheriff's Office officials said the burglary took place between noon and 12:20 p.m. on Dec. 25.

A man reported $1,800 worth of electronics stolen from his Havre de Grace home on Christmas Day, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office.

Around noon on Dec. 25, a man left his home on the 2100 block of Chapel Road to run to the store, said Edward Hopkins, spokesman for the Harford County Sheriff's Office.

When the resident returned home at about 12:20 p.m., he noticed the bay window had been shattered, Hopkins said.

Immediately, the man realized that a 42-inch flat-screen TV and his laptop were missing, Hopkins said. Another TV and laptop were also reported stolen, Hopkins added, bringing the estimated total loss to $1,800.

According to the Harford County Sheriff's Office, there are no suspects and the investigation is continuing.

Can you verify the address or fix your map? Your map points to the corner of Tydings Rd. and Ontario St which happens to be the 1300 block - not the 2100 block of Chapel Road.
