Two vehicles were burned early Sunday morning in Havre de Grace.

The Susquehanna Hose Company and Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office responded to both incidents and determined the preliminary cause of each to be incendiary devices, according to the fire marshal.

At 2:03 a.m., the fire marshal responded to both the 600 block of Ontario Street and the 700 block of North Adams Street.

A 2006 Mazda 3 on Adams Street sustained $6,000 in damages after a fire originated in a passenger compartment of the vehicles, according to a statement from the fire marshal's office.

On Ontario Street, a 2007 Harley Davidson Sportster 1200c sustained an estimated $1,000 in damage from a fire originating in the passenger seat, according to a statement from the fire marshal's office.

In each incident, eight members of the Susquehanna Hose Company controlled the blaze within 10 minutes.
