A bear was sighted Sunday in Darlington near the Boy Scout Camp area.

UPDATED (12:30 p.m.)—The bear that has made his rounds in Harford County since early June apparently isn't ready to leave.

A series of bear sightings have been reported since Patch's initial report showed the bear tracking across central Harford County and north along the Susquehanna River.

The bear seems to have settled in the Darlington area recently.

Jason Sloan told Patch that the bear was seen near a campground in Darlington on Sunday (see photos).

Steve Ruth told Patch that he saw the bear around 11 a.m. on Saturday at his home off Hughes Road in Darlington (see photos).

"He kind of wandered around here for a half hour, just tearing up the bird feeders and wondering where he could get some more food," Steve Ruth said. "We talked to DNR, they know about him, they're tracking him, and we think there's just one. But we're not sure."

The bear took down the bird feeders before heading off into the woods, Ruth said.

Explore Harford reported the bear was seen on Friday on Nobles Mill Road in Darlington.

I found some (what I believe to be) bear poop in a parking lot in Darlington Saturday evening around 9pm. I'm not 100% positive, but it was full of berries, and I couldn't think of any other animal who could have left it. It was south of Hughes Road.

Poor fella is lost it seems. I hope he doesn't end up getting shot by someone spooked by him when he is just looking for food.

He was at my in-laws house on Prospect Road in Whiteford yesterday morning. Would he be scared of my kids if they are outside playing or swimming in the pool?
