The annual golf outing helps fund the Brian Anthony Wilson Memorial Scholarship.
Five years hasn't dimmed the memory of him or the efforts of those who love him.
The fifth annual Brian Anthony Wilson Memorial Golf Tournament will be held next week in Perryville—a testament to the impact felt by all those touched by the 2008 Havre de Grace High School grad. Wilson died in a car accident involving an alleged drunk driver on his return trip from senior week.
The 2012 golf outing will be held Aug. 10 at Furnace Bay Golf Course in Perryville.
All proceeds go toward the Brian Anthony Wilson Memorial Scholarship fund. Via the scholarship, approximately $10,500 was awarded to graduates this spring.
Teams of four, playing captain's choice, will compete for prizes—awarded to the top finishers. Raffles will be held.
Entry is $75 per golfer for the event, which begins with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Entry includes practice range, greens and cart fees and food.
