3 File For City Council on Day 1

Havre de Grace will have at least three candidates for City Council.

Three men who previously confirmed their candidacy to Patch filed paperwork on Tuesday to run in the May 8 election.

The window to file election paperwork opened Tuesday at 8 a.m. and will close on March 20 at 5 p.m. Paperwork can be picked up at City Hall.

Incumbent Councilmembers Jim Miller and Fred Cullum, and Havre de Grace community volunteer Dave Glenn each filed paperwork on Tuesday.

The seats held by Miller, Cullum and City Council President Bill Martin are up for election.

Mayor Wayne Dougherty and Councilmembers Randy Craig, John Correri and Barbara Wagner were elected last May.

Havre de Grace conducts an annual spring election—with two-year terms for six council members and mayor.
