The second annual Zombie Run is taking place in Darlington this weekend, on Oct. 27 and 28.

The 5K will start at Camp Ramblewood (2564 Silver Rd.) in Darlington; however, race participants will not be permitted to park at that location. They will be parking at 3540 Smith Rd. and taking shuttles to the race.

At the 2011 event, parking was a "major issue," according to ExploreHarford.com, because runners were walking to the race from nearby off-site parking lots. This year, the event coordinators moved off-site parking so it is 4 miles away and people will have to take shuttles so roads don't become congested with participants.

The activities associated with the Zombie Run will be from 5:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27.

Hours for Sunday's events are 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
