To the Editor:

We are writing in support of Bill Martin and David “Pee Wee” Glenn for City Council. The passion and love these two candidates have for the City of Havre de Grace is truly from the heart. These two have no hidden agendas and are the most honest, dedicated men you could meet. Just listen to them speak and you will quickly realize how passionate they are about this great city.

Bill Martin gives up several evenings or nights a week taking care of City Council business, not to mention the hours that he puts in on a daily basis. Bill works for everyone and not just certain groups of people.  He loves this city and makes every decision based on what’s best for the city. We cannot tell you how often we pass City Hall in the late afternoons and evenings and see Bill’s truck parked outside. He is a true leader of this City and has proven himself so the last four years. Bill is a great friend of ours and we wish him luck on May 8 and ask the great citizens of Havre de Grace to cast their vote for Bill Martin.

David “Pee Wee” Glenn’s love for this city is known by most. He is known for putting countless volunteer hours into numerous organizations in the City of Havre de Grace. If David can show just half the passion for the City of Havre de Grace that he shows for his numerous volunteer organizations, Havre de Grace will be the winner. Our guess is, David will have that same unselfish passion working for the Citizens of Havre de Grace as he has shown with other volunteer organizations. He is a leader and will show so on City Council, he will make decisions that are in the best interest for the City of Havre de Grace. We ask you to cast your vote for David Glenn on May 8 and elect him as our newest City Councilman.
